I had these for valentines and they were delicious!
Ingredients:
5 tbsp plain flour
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1/2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
2 tbsp butter (melted)
200ml semi skimmed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp maple syrup

Method:
Pre-heat the waffle maker.
Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl and stir thoroughly.
Mix the wet ingredients together in a separate bowl and whisk together with a hand whisk or fork then pour into the dry ingredients and mix together.
Pour half the mixture into the waffle maker and cook for required time (this changes depending on the waffle maker). Once cooked, remove and repeat to make the second one.
Serve immediately with berries and maple syrup.
